Northend Youth 1 Carniny Amateurs 0 Saturday 8th April 2017
It was a beautiful sunny morning for 07 Youths game against Carniny Amateurs at Coleraine. The game started brightly with both teams creating some early chances. The Baby Blues made the breakthrough when Luke Campbell got on the end of a good through ball from Jack Stewart to go one up. Good work involving Joseph McKay and Feargal McKay set Seth Park up to score from the edge of the box. A rare mix up at the back gave Carniny a chance to pull one back, but almost instantly Luke Campbell out muscled 2 defenders to score low in the corner.
The second half started well with Joeseph McKay scoring a superb free kick. Persistent pressure saw Feargal McKay slot home from the edge of the area to make it 5. With all subs getting valuable game time Jackson broke free from defence skipped past 4 defenders to score a fine individual goal. Just to show it was no stroke of luck a good clearance from Garron Donnelly set Jackson on his way again to score another fine effort. A late consolation goal from Carniny didn't take the shine off another great performance.

Another improving display from U10 development team, saw them come out on top against Carniny Girls, in a match made even more impressive considering, due to illness, Northend could field only 6 players for the entire match.
The first half finished even, thanks largely to a fantastic display from the Carniny goalkeeper, with the Northend goal coming from 2009 player Daniel Cooke!
In the second half Northend started to control the game, with Michael O'Donnell scoring from midfield and Matthew Wade in defence very solid in giving nothing away. Also impressive was Callum Connolly in goals and making his debut Caolan Laverty.

Northend Youth vrs Bertie Peacocks Colts Saturday 25th March 2017
The U10 Youths were back in action at Coleraine University against Bertie Peacocks Colts. It was a cracking spring morning and the game certainly proved to be entertaining for the spectators. Despite a good start and some nice football, Northend found themselves 1 down after 10 mins. Still dominating in midfield Seb Smyth created a chance for Luke Campbell who slotted home the equaliser. A lucky break following confusion in the Bertie' s defence saw Northend take the lead with an OG. We pressed hard and good football from Jack Stewart, Callum Watt and Luke Campbell, set up Jack Stewart to slide home from close range. Alan made it 4 just before the half time whistle. Half time 4-0
The second half saw theNorthend boys continue to play a high tempo game and pushed forward at every opportunity. Goals from Callum Watt, Seb Smyth (2) and Seth Park saw Northend run out easy winners. Northend Pumas Vrs Carniny Amateurs Saturday 18th March 2017
This really was a cracker of a game with both teams passing the ball around well and after Northend went in front when Caelyn Clarke finished of a great move but Carniny responded straight away with a equally good goal. The game went from end to end and Northend were guilty of missing several good chances to extend their lead. Just before half time Caelyn Clarke shot from distance flew into the bottom corner of the carniny net to put them infront at the interval.
Northend became more dominate in the second half and had it not been for the great defending from the Carniny player's and goalkeeper, Northend would of been further infront. Alfie McKee and Thomas Mc Laughlin both hit the crossbar and post before Caelyn Clarke got his hat-trick, then Thomas Mc Laughlin scored with Nicholas Agnew and Callum Connolly adding to the scoreline before Carniny added another goal through a penalty. The Northend team are improving every week and the Carniny team have really improved from the start of the season and are a credit to their coach Colin Turtle.
